GFSSM Scientific Committee
The Global Future Space Scholars Meet is governed by a committee comprising prominent researchers and practitioners in the field of space science. This committee, consisting of a Chair, and Members, is responsible for guiding the overall direction and objectives of the program.

    Dr. Yao Zhonghua
    Associate Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Hong Kong, Scholar of the Hundred Talents Program at the University of Hong Kong (HKU-100), Honorary Professor at University College London, UK, and Chair of the Planetary Division of the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS).

    Dr. Mao Yong
    Dr. Mao Yong holds a Ph.D. from Tsinghua University and has worked as researcher in the Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique (INRIA) and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), France. He is the Co-founder of ITCCC Innovative Education, a board member of IOAI, and the Co-Chair of the Scientific Committee of the Global Future Space Scholars Meet.

    Professor at Tshwane University of Technology in South Africa, Senior Researcher at the Technology and Management for Development Centre at University of Oxford in the UK, Academician of the Academy of Science of South Africa and the African Academy of Sciences.
  • Dr. Hughes David Simon
    Head of Faculty-Science, Sheldon College, Queensland, Australia. Ph.D. in Biology, Senior Mentor for the Space Design Competition, and has led students to multiple world championships.
  • Dr. Patrick Bruskiewich
    PhD candidate in Nuclear Astrophysics, MSc (Physics), BSc (Physics), B.Ed (Science), with over 40 years of teaching experience and 25 years of experience in the high-tech field. Dean of the Vancouver Institute for Advanced Study, editor-in-chief of three publishing houses and six magazines. Internationally read author of over 250 books.
  • Mr. Nadeem Anwar
    Nadeem Anwar, a distinguished Physics teacher at Lahore Grammar School since 1996, holds an M.Sc in Physics and has achieved numerous accolades, including the prestigious Anita Ghulam Ali’s Teacher Award in 2009. He has led Pakistan's team to international competitions, securing victories in space settlement design contests.
  • Prof. Najam Abbas Naqvi
    A renowned science communicator, educator, and researcher with over 25 years of expertise in space science, technology, and its applications. He serves as a Professor and Chairman of the National Center of GIS & Space Applications (NCGSA) at the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. A pioneer in STEM outreach and space education, he has led groundbreaking initiatives to enhance space awareness and inspire future generations in the field.
  • Mr. Tom Diffenbach
    An expert with extensive influence in the fields of international education and competitions. He has provided teaching, mentoring, and consulting services to students, schools, and communities in over a dozen countries and regions, including China. As an experienced judge, Tom plays a significant role in multiple internationally renowned competitions. He serves as a judge for the GFSSM and actively participates in the Space Settlement Competition organized by the National Space Society (NSS), DiscoverE's Future City, and the newly initiated Space Law Competition.
    As a political consultant, he combines space exploration with international politics through the SpaceSoc (Space Societies) program, promoting international cooperation and exchange in the space sector.
  • Mr. Anmol Singh
    Founder and CEO of Capilux Global Pvt Ltd, a proprietary equity trading and investment research firm based in New Delhi, India, specializing in the development of technical and quantitative trading algorithms. He is a two-time winner of the prestigious NASA Ames Space Settlement Design Contest (2011 and 2012) and currently serves as a member of the judging panel for the National Space Society's Space Settlement Contest. Anmol has actively contributed to the global space community by working with SpaceSoc (Space Societies) to organize online educational events for students worldwide. He has also presented papers on deep space missions at the Dupont Summit in Washington, D.C., USA, further demonstrating his commitment to advancing space exploration and settlement.
